Season 1
So, what’s Season 1 of The Writer’s Help Desk about?
It’s a toolbox! Your toolbox!
Huh?!
What do you need a toolbox for?
Well that’s a very good question.
When I was starting out on my writing journey these were the key bits of information I wish I’d known that NOBODY tells you. They are the critical and yet basic tools that make writing easier and help you understand what you have to offer this world by writing those stories you have always thought you should.
These tools not only combat writer’s block, but they build your confidence and help you avoid mistakes that can cost you dearly. I’m talking the demise of relationships and plaguing self-doubt that keeps you from living your dreams and writing content that makes you truly happy.
Sounds good?
Save yourself some heartache and hardtimes and get yourself subscribed (to the podcast and to the mailing list so you not only don’t miss a thing but you also get access to super juicy exclusive episodes available nowhere else!)
Looking forward to hearing what you think of the tools I’ve popped into the toolbox!
Season 2
Season 2 is all about my process for writing my first published novel – The Rose A Reality TV Romance.
It’s a behind the scenes look at where the idea came from and why it was a good one.
Then I go into how I managed to pump out a first draft in 30 days all while doing life things like dealing with the demise of my fridge!
Once I had the first draft – the question was what to do with it? So I delve into some of the changes I made from first draft to finished manuscript.
After that there’s an episode about the cover, and other stylistic decisions that need to get made so you can publish your book! This just scratches the surface, but is an insight into lessons learnt along the way.
And lastly I’ve got an episode about what it’s been like to release my literary masterpiece (lol) into the world. Feedback I’ve gotten from my nearest and dearest.
And there’s so much more… so if you want more deets email me, message me, let me know and I’ll do more episodes!
